Time Delay at Loss of Signal - This is pre-programmed for a one (1) minute delay before the relay unlatches. This is done on purpose in order to compensate for those occassions when the laptop or PC goes to sleep. This then gives one minute to touch the key board and reset the timer. If the time out is set to zero, the relay would activate immediately and if controlling a screen, would cause the screen to retract. This is the most common usage.
Ideal for use in those situations to determine the power status of devices such as Laptops, Blu-Ray players, DVDs, cameras which have a HDMI output. Many of these do not have discrete power commands thereby making it ‘hit and miss’ in determining if it’s on or off. Well, not any more. Just fit the SD-H1 in-line and it will detect the presence of HDMI signal. Feed the output directly to the I/O port of your processor and your will be able to determine the power status and always toggle the power correctly – no more guess work!
